Climate models suggest that future climate change will impact the Carolinas through increasing average temperatures and changes in precipitation. How vulnerable are the human and biophysical systems in the Carolinas to climate change? Dr. Jessica Whitehead, regional climate extension specialist for the South Carolina Sea Grant Consortium and North Carolina Sea Grant Extension Programs, will provide an overview of climate change vulnerability, resilience to climate change, and assessment methodologies to help local researchers explore this subject in the contexts of their research.
